DS Playground: Tagged Out

So yeah, Twestival happened. What I envisioned didn’t.

The only “tagging” I managed to do was playing Pokemon with Khamis. I did see Fikree & Asatiir doing something together on his XL, but that’s all that there was. Apparently, Taskuku showed up and left.

But other than this group, no one else came. I blame myself for “unorganizing” this event before it even started; I got too caught up with Twestival, that I neglected my organizing duties.

For that, I apologize to everyone who was looking forward to the event.

HOWEVER.

This post isn’t about self-deprecation, there is a silver lining!

First off, I made this.

It’s glorious, isn’t it? I’m especially proud of the profile picture I made. Anyway, it’ll be a “base of operations” so Like it and tell your friends who play DS and aren’t on the site, but on Facebook about it. By the way, I tried my best with the Arabic translation till I went back to making it a transliteration.

Next, I’d like to announce my plans for a proper DS meetup. (Technically, the  Twestival one didn’t happen.)

Unless WildPeeta Open Space at DWTC opens first, we’ll have it next weekend, on Thursday at 7pm in Kino’s Cafe inside BookWorld by Kinokuniya at The Dubai Mall. If you have other suggestion, please mention them in the comments. Also, let me know if the time is inconvenient.

Just in case, everyone should get their chargers with them; I’m getting the power-surge adapter and my DSi charger. Also, if you’re finicky please make sure to label your charger.
