StreetPass Dubai

Hello Everyone!

After the little experiment I unorganized last week, I decided to give it another go! Although this time, it’s more organized and focused.

The Plan:

• Date: Thursday March 31st, 2011.
• Time: 7pm
• Location: Kino’s Cafe at “BookWorld By Kinokuiya” Kinokuniya, at The Dubai Mall. We’ll take over the glass chamber in the back. Why? Cause it’s roofless and amplifies sound, so we’ll be bringing down the house!!
  (It’s the only place with convenient power outlets too.)

• Equipment:

Get your DS/3DS, multiplayer games, Tag Mode/StreetPass compatible games, & your chargers, just in case. I’ll be bringing a power-surge-adapter-protecter-thingamijig.

• What You’re supposed to do:

EAT. TRADE. BATTLE. WIN. GAME.
Also, I’d appreciate it if all iPhone and Android users download the Posterous program. (We don’t use the “A”-word around here.) I’ll be setting up a Posterous event, which should grab all our photos automagically and make a gallery. It’s much more convenient then waiting for everyone to send in the pics.
(If you’re wondering why I’m not using Color, as far as I know, it’s iOS only.)

Oh and on the topic of photos, I expect you to take LOTS AND LOTS of them.

Mohammed Fikree, closet Archader, is getting his US/EU/JP 3DS’s with him. Consider it a ” Demo” for people who want to try out the 3DS. He also designed the StreetPass Dubai Poster and logo, so give a cookie as thanks.
