Gamefest at Geekfest

We know that Games11 is going to be on tomorrow, but if that’s not your kind of thing, we are organizing a “bring your own computer” LAN party over at the Geekfest. We played Unreal Tournament before, so why not something new? well this time we are playing Team Fortress 2, like Unreal Tournament, that game should run on anything too and the best bit is that it’s for free!

All you need to do is bring your own laptop or desktop (if you want) and a mouse to Geekfest and come play with us, it will be in the Shelter’s new venue located right behind the Al Tayer Motors in Sheikh Zayed Road, more info in the facebook event here.

In case you don’t have a a machine that can run Team Fortress 2, we are bringing an Xbox 360 to play Child of Eden for everyone to try out.

Here are the specifications to run Team Fortress 2, all you have to do is download steam, register if you haven’t and download Team Fortress 2 for free (available for both windows and mac):
