3 things Kinectimals can learn from Gears of War

Kinectimals had definitely recieved positive feedback from the younger crowd, here’s how we think it would benefit from the older, MORE HARDCORE Gears of War crowd!

1. Grittier, less saturated graphics (with bloom):

Kinectimals’s color pallete is pretty vibrant, but in order to sell a game like this to a mature crowd, it needs to be less colorful, grittier and have shade of brown, no jungle should be that green!

2. Blood and gore:

These wild cats are predators, felines of hunt, the game should show how rough the jungle is. Tigers and panthers would always attack the jugular first, knowing that attacking that would take down any animal! These attacks would definitely break the monotony of just raising cubs.

3. This trailer:

and THAT’s how you market a virtual pet game for a hardcore crowd!

Come to think of it, Crysis 1 was colorful. I bet it wasn’t even hardcore in the first place.

I’m glad they fixed that in the second game. (not)

Nice choice of song – i thought you would have made your own trailer ;)

Interesting concept though – maybe something Activision should consider for their Skylander series as well!

I chose that song because it was in the Gears of War 3 campaign trailer. Unless skylander gets into that headline generator list, I wont be able to do one. :p
