Hello everyone!

I’d like to share some very exciting news: Timothy Garcia, a professional web designer and a big StreetPass fan, has created a website to further unite StreetPass users everywhere!

This new website, called PassID, allows individuals and groups to display a public “badge” showing their name, photo, Friend Code and other info to facilitate new connections.

Because it’s designed with the Nintendo 3DS limitations in mind, PassID badges can be used as URLs that Mii characters share in StreetPass mode. (In other words, the URL would be the “greeting” that your Mii brings to other systems.)

For example, the StreetPass Dubai account’s Mii greeting would be:

http://passid.ca/dxb

By following the above URL, you’ll see the PassID badge for StreetPass Dubai. That’s an example of how a group might present itself on PassID. To show how an individual might present himself on PassID, I created a badge for myself:

It’s first come, first served on badge codes, make sure you grab yours quick! Also, once you’re created your personal badge, be sure to join the StreetPass Dubai, or whichever one that’s in your area, group!
